Many roads lead to Gletsch!
Gletsch was one of the cradles of tourism in the Alps. The hotel settlement at the foot of the Rhone Glacier was reached on foot, by mule, by coach and later by train and automobile. The first inn was built here in 1830. By 1901, Gletsch had grown to its present size. Hardly any other place in Goms offers so much to see in such a small area.
